Five things to know
- The demos run on play money only. No deposits, no prizes, nothing with cash value.
- Our games, art, code, mascots and brand belong to us. Please don't copy them.
- The casino and review brands on our concept pages, such as Velvet Ace, CoinHarbor and ReelVerdict, are fictional.
- The site is provided as it is. Real work always runs on a signed contract.
- This site is for adults (18+) working in the industry.
01About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Scatterhaus website, including its pages, demo games and concept pages (together, "the site"). "Scatterhaus", "we" and "us" mean the studio, which is run by Rastezh Digital EOOD, the company that owns the Scatterhaus brand. Its legal details are provided on request and in every contract.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.
02Who the site is for
The site presents our services to businesses: casinos and operators, affiliates, media buyers and other companies in iGaming and performance marketing. You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the age of majority where you live is higher, to use it.
03Demo games are play money only
The games on this site are demonstrations of our work. They are not gambling, and nothing on the site is an offer to gamble.
- No real money. You can't deposit, bet or withdraw real money, and there are no accounts or payment methods.
- No prizes. Nothing you win in a demo can be claimed, paid out or exchanged for anything.
- No cash value. Play money (including "FUN" credits), XP, levels, missions and achievements have no monetary value. They can't be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed. Balances refill automatically and may reset at any time.
- Demo results predict nothing. Return-to-player (RTP) and house edge figures are theoretical long-run averages. What happens in a demo session says nothing about results in any real-money version of a game.
- Demo builds may differ from versions released with operators, for example in features, settings or the configuration required in a particular market.
Real-money gambling is restricted or illegal in some places. If you play our games at a licensed operator, that operator's terms and the law where you are apply, not these terms.
04Concept pages and fictional brands
Our landing pages, pre-landers, top lists and sweepstakes pages are portfolio samples that show what we can build. The brands on them, such as Velvet Ace, CoinHarbor and ReelVerdict, are fictional, and so are the offers, bonuses, ratings, reviews and conditions shown there. No real casino stands behind them and there is nothing to claim.
Games shown inside these pages may be real Scatterhaus games running in demo mode. Any resemblance between a fictional brand and a real one is unintended. If you think a concept page looks too much like your brand, tell us and we'll change it.
05Intellectual property
The site and everything on it belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. That includes our games and game mathematics, artwork, animation, sound, code, page designs and copy, our mascots (Chip, Uncle Vlado, Grandpa Pesho and friends), and the Scatterhaus name and logo.
You may view the site and play the demos to get to know our work and evaluate our services. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, sell or publicly show our content outside the site;
- reuse our art, characters, code, designs or copy in your own products, pages or ads;
- scrape the site, or use its content to train machine-learning or AI models;
- frame or embed our demos or pages on another site;
- decompile or reverse engineer our code, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove or change any copyright or brand notices.
Ownership of work we create for clients is set out in each client's contract. Names of other companies, platforms and tools mentioned on the site belong to their owners. We mention them only to describe our work, and a mention doesn't mean they endorse us.
Want to use something from the site, or think something here infringes your rights? Email hello@scatterhaus.com.
06Client work runs on written contracts
Nothing on the site is a binding offer. Prices, turnaround times (such as "within 24 hours" or "in 48 hours"), results, case studies and examples describe how we usually work and what we have done before. They are not promises for your project.
Every project is governed by a separate written agreement that sets out scope, price, timelines, ownership, confidentiality and liability. If anything on the site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.
07Briefs and messages you send
When you send us a brief or a message, you confirm that you are allowed to share what's in it. Please don't send confidential material, such as player data, source code or unreleased plans, before we have signed a non-disclosure agreement. We'll gladly sign one.
We treat briefs with care and use them to reply to you, as described in our privacy notice. Sending a brief doesn't create a contract or oblige either of us to work together.
08Using the site fairly
Please don't:
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it;
- upload or send malware, or send automated or bulk messages through our forms;
- present our demos as real-money games, or show them to minors;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
We may block access from anyone who does.
09Links to other sites
The site links to sites we don't control, such as Telegram, the help organisations on our responsible gaming page, and the sites of platforms and partners. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link doesn't mean we endorse them. Their own terms apply when you visit them.
You're welcome to link to our site, as long as the link doesn't suggest a partnership or endorsement that doesn't exist.
10No warranty
The site and the demos are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep them accurate and running, but we don't guarantee that the content is complete or up to date, or that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. The demos are not certified for real-money use and must not be used as such.
11Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of the site or the demos, or from relying on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you use the site as a consumer, your mandatory rights under consumer law are not affected.
12Changes, law and the rest
Changes. We may update the site and these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of the EU member state where Rastezh Digital EOOD is established. Its details are provided on request and in every contract. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Severability. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
